Job Description:
We are currently looking to hire a full time Fire Alarm Designer, preferably NICET certified.
Job Requirements:
Must be able familiar with producing fire alarm system installation shop drawings including floor plans, riser diagrams, system component diagrams (point-to-point) and other layouts.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required and basic knowledge of fire alarm systems is a plus.
Other duties include takeoffs from bid documents, assisting our sales staff, performing light office tasks, and other related drawing tasks as assigned.
Experience in use of a personal computer.
Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and Outlook.
An insurable driving record and valid drivers license.
Self-starter, able to work without close supervision.
Must be punctual and reliable.
Pay is commensurate with experience.
