Job Description:
Doron Ofir Casting is now seeking Interns to help with the casting of “Nashville Star.” This high powered LA based casting company works in conjunction with several major networks and currently needs the help of creative, intelligent, motivated students to aide in our Nation Wide Search for the next Nashville Star. Job Requirements:
Job Duties:
• Advertise and promote our casting through use of conventional and innovative means.
• Promote and scout social networks on own campus and those of surrounding scools.
• Update Casting Associates with contacts for local music stores, schools, venues, vendors, etc.
• Scout local nightlife venues catering to Country Music Talent for prospective contestants.
• Send digital updates of marketing campaign, including photos to be included in casting website for promotional purposes
• Time commitment is 15-20 hours per week and is regulated via daily updates
• 3 Days spent with Casting Associates and Producer to scout local music venues for potential cast and facilitate open call.
Job Qualifications:
• Outgoing, creative, personality and ambition to think of innovative ways to achieve the goals we set out.
• Knowledge of online community networking (myspace, facebook etc.)
• Capability to photograph publicity efforts and upload/email photos to Casting Associates
• Knowledge of Music with emphasis on Country, Americana, Blue Grass, Blues, Folk, Southern Rock etc.
