Job Description:
Title: SQL / Quality Assurance Analyst
Duration: Permanent Full-time position
Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA - Only local candidates will be considered (15 mile radius)
Pay: 35-65k commensurate with experience and skills

Overview:
Performs processes related to testing activities for new software development systems & applications. Works with other testing analysts to specify & support the test environment. Responsible for developing & executing formal test plans to ensure the quality of software functions. Designs tests, executes the tests, traces and captures bugs, reports bugs through bug tracking software, updates QA manager on status of open issues until close of issue.

Required Skills:
Must possess expert Microsoft SQL Server skills
Must be proficiently capable in utilizing Profiler and Query Analyzer
Ability to develop & execute effective test strategies & plans
Ability to track & develop metrics for testing
Knowledgeable of downstream application testing
Knowledgeable of testing stored procedures
Ability to perform requirements reviews
Ability to interface with Analysts and End Users
Microsoft Windows Explorer and Networking knowledge (FTP, RDC, WTS, etc)
Expert ability in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc)
