Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Self starter, willing to be flexible during design development, coordinate with interfacing disciplines and take ownership of the design
2. Have an understanding of surface drainage design.
3. Develop drainage systems without the aid of P&IDs
4. Ability to develop hydraulic calculations and size pipe for gravity systems
5. Be familiar with Fire/Safety requirements related to industrial applications
6. Be familiar with U/G pipe materials and fabrication requirements unique to those materials (I.E. cement lined pipe, HDPE)
Qualifications:
Develop gravity drainage systems without the aid of P&IDs. Coordinate with interface with disciplines relating to plot layout and system functionality. Provide conceptual design and material takeoffs for all underground piping, relating to drainage, safety and process systems. Create plans and is suitable for fabrication/construction using PDS/PDMS.
