B.E. Meyers is an innovative, high-tech Pacific Northwest manufacturer of electro-optical devices primarily for the military market. The company is located in Redmond and has been in business for over 30 years. We're looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with a good mix of analog and digital skills.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Oversees product development from concept to manufacturing release.
* Designs robust portable battery-powered electronics devices with embedded microprocessors.
* Conducts schematic capture and analog SPICE simulation
* Oversees PCB layout and verifies designs.
* Supervises Electronics Technicians during test, verification and debug of electrical circuits.
* Coordinates with manufacturing personnel in supporting new and legacy products.
* Minimal travel required.
Job Requirements:
Requirements:
* BSEE Degree and a minimum of 2 years related experience
* Familiarity with designing to military standards such as MIL-STD-461E or MIL-STD-810F a plus.
* Ability to rapidly prototype new concepts and respond to changing market conditions.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills with standard laboratory equipment.
* Team player with excellent communication, documentation and leadership skills.
* Familiarity with Mentor's DxDesigner and PADS for CAD.
* Familiarity with programming in C language.
* Familiarity with standard MS Windows applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Project
* US Citizenship may be required for Security Clearance.
