Hello my name is Elva Kontos, I am recruiter for Aegis Mission Essential Personnel. We currently have Pashto and Dari linguist positions overseas. Our company, Aegis MEP has been awarded a five-year contract by the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) to provide translation and interpretation services in Afghanistan. This is an opportunity for you to help rebuild Afghanistan and provide cultural awareness and support where needed. I have listed the details of the position below and compensation for a first year contract is up to $218,540yr for US Citizens and up to $183,040yr for Green Card Holders and I-94 Holders with proper work authorization; bi-annual salary increases will apply.. Job Requirements:
Requirements:
--Must be a U.S. Citizen fluent in reading, writing, and speaking both Dari and Pashto
-- Must be willing to obtain a security clearance
-- Must be willing to travel overseas, in this case, Afghanistan
Duties:
-- Providing general language and cultural support for U.S. Military personnel and citizens of Afghanistan to aide in the rebuilding process.
-- Interpret spoken communications during interviews, meetings, and conferences.
--Translate written documents, newspaper articles, and other written media.
Vacation/Leave:
--10 days after 6 months of service (20 days after 1 year of service)
