Job Description:
Make design changes to adjust existing products to meet new product requirements.
Do worst case analysis of existing and new circuit designs.
Perform cost analysis of product designs.
Participate in the selection, specification, and qualification of electronic components.
Develop specifications and documentation for new product designs.
Work with customers to define and develop product designs.
Mentor engineers and technicians.
Specify required support equipment.
Keep abreast of new technologies.
Participate in peer circuit diagram reviews and PCB layout reviews.
Aid DV & RF labs in EMC hardening new products when issues occur.
Spend about 20% of time working on new product concepts.
Keep in contact with Advanced Technology and Research (AT&R) groups to create a running list of projects the groups are working on, support appropriate projects from the list by updating the Design/Development group on project status/needs, evaluate concept’s ability to meet automotive specifications, assist AT&R in design/evaluation of concept, and champion the project technology when it transitions into Product Development.

Job Requirements:
Prefer a four year degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) must have at least ASEET.
5 years electronic design experience preferred.
Strong design skills in analog and digital electronics desired.
Prefer experience with embedded software and microprocessors.
Some overseas travel maybe required.
