Project Manager II - Temp. to Perm. (2007755) Job

Oversees multiple projects. Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Lead implementation projects across multiple business units. Responsible for implementation quality and success. Responsible for client satisfaction and delivery of value in addition to building stronger relations with the lines of businesses

Manages all phases of technology projects including the research, acquisition, design, implementation and maintenance for projects associated with IT infrastructure development

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet with business unit's leaders and project sponsors to assess project needs for the purpose of initiating, planning, executing and controlling new and ongoing projects


• Work side by side with BSA to finalize Requirement Document


• Provide timely communications and resolution to problems affecting project schedules


• Provide project management competencies across several simultaneous projects


• Interface with external venders to coordinate contracted services on projects


• Create and maintain an environment of continuous service improvement within the technology department
  

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Requirements:

• 5 plus years of consistent PM experience
  
• A leader and mentor to other PM staff
  
• Ability to lead project teams across all project lifecycle (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Controlling and Closure).
  
• PMI's PMBOK hands on experience required
  
• Managing concurrent projects from initiation to closing
  
• Requirements analysis and gathering hands-on experience
  
• IS/IT modeling and designing experience
  
• SOX Compliant knowledge a must
  
• PMO exposure desirable
  
• Methodology definition experience desirable
  
• Mentoring others on PM processes and EPM tools
  
• Business Analyst experience desirable
  
• Budget and time estimating experience
  
• Proven track record on managing resources
  
• Demonstrable knowledge in the following technologies:
  o Microsoft Project Professional
  o Microsoft Office Suite
  o Microsoft Visio
  
• Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
  
• Excellent customer service/client relation skills
  
• Excellent organizational skills
  
• Time estimating experience

Education/Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years PM experience
  
• BS in a technical domain
  

Certification Requirements:

• PMP certification and proof of active registration required
  
• Microsoft Project Server Belt Certifications a plus
  
• Business Systems Analyst background a plus
