Job Description:
Under the direction of the manager, the incumbent serves as an interpreter for clients and partners and supports the operations of the company in the consecutive or sight translation mode. The incumbent relays information between speakers of two different languages in compliance with all office and company policies and procedures, particularly relating to confidentiality. The incumbent must pass performance of competencies as listed in the Code of Ethics.

Job Requirements:
-Fluency in English and foreign language(s), both oral and written, at a Superior level according to ACTFL - http://www.actfl.org/files/public/Guidelinesspeak.pdf
-High level of customer service and a positive approach
-5 years of experience as a interpreter, with a very strong vocabulary
(including vocabulary of specialties, to interpret for our client markets)
-Bachelor's degree (Masters degree preferred)
-Proof of interpreter training - minimum of 40 hours (College level interpreting training preferred)
-Familiar with diversity of cultural/socio-economic backgrounds
-Good interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills
-Knowledge of computer systems
-Written translation and project management experience
-Good analytical and managerial skills
