Job Description:
We are looking for an Advertising Sales Assistant for our Custom Projects group. The ideal candidate will help the Sales Manager and sales team produce and track insertion orders, coordinate and manage shipping of media kits/sample publications, assist in creating and sending marketing through e-mail, direct mail, etc., input customer/prospects data into databases such as ACT! and/or Excel spreadsheets, administer and maintain databases/spreadsheets related to ALM Custom Projects sales staff attendance, sales performance, etc., answer phones when they are unattended or they cannot answer it and assist in any related projects/work which may come about on a daily basis.
Job Requirements:
He or she must be extremely proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with the ability to learn other programs such as ACT!, have strong problem solving skills, possess outstanding customer service abilities, be an efficient self-starter and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
