Job Description:
Salary: $50-60K per year plus benefits
Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba
Description:
Required for our client who is a growing leader in the design, manufacturing and installation of pre-cast and pre-stressed concrete components for a variety of structures. Their products are used for both structural and architectural purposes and in a variety of applications including: bridges, stadiums, arenas, schools and parkades.
Key Responsibilities:
• Detailed engineered drafting utilizing Autocad 14, Tekla 3D
• Utilize ¡¥Building Information Modelling¡¦ (BIM) in the production of the drawings.
• Do final drawing check before issuance
• Ability to direct and mentor junior designers, while working as part of an engineering design team.
Job Requirements:
• Post secondary training in design drafting. Drafting, Civil or Construction Technologist would be an asset.
• Minimum Four years of pre-cast concrete architectural or structural steel detailed drafting for commercial and industrial applications.
• Experienced in working within a fast paced design team.
• Preference for a technician/technologist who is looking to advance their career.
