Project Manager - Community Health Education Job

Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of ongoing community-based research and intervention projects usually conducted in partnership with a network of community health centers serving the diverse racial and ethnic populations in the city of Boston. Coordinate outreach and other activities between academic institutions and community organizations; and faculty, students and community members. The Project Manager shall be responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination, planning, and implementation of various project activities; budget oversight and management; participate in the dissemination of reports, internal communications and briefs. Work with Boston area community health centers, community organizations and groups, consultants and other external researchers. Provide staff support for various advisory boards, planning teams or other project based groups composed of key stakeholders in the community.

Qualifications: Masters or equivalent required in public/social/ health sciences, Ph.D. preferred. Progressively more advanced responsibility in project coordination and management; demonstrated community-based experience and skills, including research, marketing, outreach, and/or education; and demonstrated project/program management experience including budgetary and general administrative skills required. Fluency in foreign language (Spanish, Haitian Creole) an asset.
