Director of Hotel Operations - Director of Hotel Management Job

The candidate will be responsible for a region and provide support and supervision to hotel managers. Provide training and orientation for hotel managers and staff with all facets of the hotel operation. Perform periodic inspections and/or audits of hotel operations (buildings, grounds, furnishings, fixtures, equipment, safety, front desk procedures, employee relations, accounting). Monitor financial performance of hotels and factors contributing to financial performance, including labor costs and implement interventions as necessary to ensure efficient, profitable hotel operations. Assume role of acting hotel manager when hotels require emergency interim management. Be available for supervision and support to hotel managers on a 24-hour per day, on-call basis. Implement strategies as necessary to ensure that all hotels in region are operated in consistence with company standards and policies, and meet, or exceed company projections for financial performance.

The candidate should have 3+ years of multi-unit experience in hotel management. Experience in all aspects of hotel operations (night audit, laundry procedures, housekeeping procedures, hotel security, front desk procedures, hotel accounting) required. Must understand yield management techniques required. Should have leadership, supervisory and administrative skills and experience in hotel operations.
