Job Description:
Summary – Responsible for the overall training/regulatory requirements of an FAA Part 145 Repair Station

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

•Responsible for writing, revising, and implementation of the Repair Station Training Manuals and regulatory requirements levity by FAA and customers.
•Establishing and overseeing the training of Repair Station personnel.
•Inspect and maintain a master copy of Repair Station Training Record packages for all Repair Station Personnel.
•Conduct environmental, health and safety audits to insure facility wide compliance with all applicable local state and federal regulations.
•Conduct Repair Station Self Internal Audits, including assisting in conducting and answering FAA audits, EASA audits, CASE audits, and customer audits on training and training program requirements.

Qualification/Requirements:

•Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Minimum 10 years of business management, training and regulatory experience.
•Knowledge of all Florida state, Miami-Dade county , and municipal regulations as they apply to air quality, waste, water management, solid and hazardous waste management, occupational safety and health.
•Experience in air quality permitting, reporting, and monitoring
•Experience in conducting environmental, health and safety audits to insure facility wide compliance with all applicable local state and federal regulations.
•Knowledge of federal and state environmental reporting requirements for hazardous waste and/or chemical inventories.
•Strong teaching skills and knowledge of CFM56 engines.
•Excellent communication skills.
•Ability to network across the company effectively and maintain good working relationship with all departments and employees.
•Self-motivated, strong planning, organizational and time management skills
•Proficient with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Quantum, and Pentagon.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
BS In Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Minimum current OSHA 40 hour, current 49 CFR certified, current IATA certified

Prefer A&P Licenses

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to lift up to 25 lbs
• Ability to work in a workshop with it's associated background noise.
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel and stand for prolonged periods of time
• Able to climb ladders and/or service stands
• Must pass a Pulmonary Function Test for respirator certification.
