Director of Pharmacy Job

Duties: Will direct and coordinate the pharmacy activities and functions. You will assemble and maintain a strong management and operational staff as well as prepare and manage the budget for pharmacy services. Assure the quality of pharmacy services are maintained at a level consistent with patient needs and our high standards. You will also maintain departmental excellence by promoting and participating in state and/or national professional activities. Success in this position requires the establishment of action plans that support hospital's key initiatives and motivating staff to achieve scorecard action plans.

Qualification: The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy and pharmacy licensure from the state of Colorado. The preferred candidate will have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree as well as a Master's degree in Business or Healthcare Management. 3+ years' supervisory experience in institutional pharmacy practice is required.
