Job Description:
The Director of Advancement and Communications will be responsible for all development initiatives and communications in support of the ongoing programs of Act One, Inc. Duties include fundraising, donor relations, planning for future funding needs, and oversight of all communications pieces for the purpose of fundraising. This is a full time; salaried and benefited position reporting to the Executive Director. Experience with development of fundraising strategies, donor relations, grants oversight, and communication strategies for various audiences a must. The ideal candidate will be able to show a successful history in the areas of development and fundraising, be familiar with non-profit corporations (preferably in the areas of arts and entertainment), and exhibit a high degree of professionalism.
