Biomedical Engineering Job

Responsibilities: Performs all duties without direct supervision and assists with corrective and preventive maintenance on clinical and non-clinical equipment such as monitors, printers, infusion pumps and nurse call systems. Also performs safety checks, repairs and installations of electronic equipment. Assists in maintaining a reliable inventory and with keeping accurate records on all assigned equipment. Provides assistance to technicians and operators of electronic equipment. Participates in disaster, fire and other emergencies; observes all hospital safety practices and regulations.

Qualifications: Should have an AS degree in biomedical electronics or electronics engineering with 1+ years' experience. Win servicing computers and peripherals experience preferred. Should have computer experience. (Windows operating systems and applications necessary) Valid Florida drivers license. Should be familiar with codes applicable to field and industry. Proficient in written and verbal communication. Proficient in the use of test equipment and tools pertinent to the field. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
