Job Description:
Gain valuable experience working directly with the CEO and office manager. The intern will receive a wide array of experience in a number of business areas including, but not limited to, product creation, accounting, human resources, marketing, information technology and management. In the process, the intern will learn exactly what it takes to make a company function. This opportunity is great for an entrepreneurial-minded individual who wants to start his or her own company one day.
Duties:
Help lead daily staff meetings
Assist the CEA in managing project deliverables from all departments
Help hold directors accountable for deadlines
Assist the CEA on all projects including accounting and information technology
Provide feedback on website projects
Assist in researching and devising new human resources strategies
Assist in running brainstorming sessions to enable the creation of new marketing ideas/strategies
Assist in monitoring the intern/trainee program
Help with bookkeeping and invoice procedures
Learn how to take a product from idea to market
Have a direct, hands-on opportunity to affect the success of a growing company (we will implement any viable ideas that you come up with.)
Job Requirements:
VAVi Sport and Social Club is looking for a self-motivated individual with lots of personality, a love of sports and a strong work ethic. A bachelors degree or a student majoring in the field of business is recommended. Experience in accounting, finance, management, and leadership roles will be helpful. You will be expected to multitask and accomplish clearly defined goals with minimum supervision.
