Job Description:
This intern will work directly with the New Business Director to create new programs, develop implementation plans, and execute these programs. Responsibilities also include conducting research to provide competitive analysis and making proposals to create new sports leagues throughout San Diego County.
Duties:
• Expand current sports programs
o Assist in obtaining new facilities for sports programming
• Create new sports programming
o Brainstorm new ideas and learn to build a sports league from scratch
o Assist in Creating business proposals for executing new sports leagues
o Assist in Running new sports leagues and support the Growth and Sports Departments
• Marketing
o Assist in conducting research and providing competitive analysis
o Assist in setting price, promotion, place, and product from a marketing perspective
Job Requirements:
VAVi Sport & Social Club is looking for a self-motivated individual with lots of personality, a love of sports, and a strong work ethic. A person with or pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or physical education is encouraged. Experience with recreational or intramural sports, sales, or event planning is a plus.
