Part-time Hike Coordinator (November 1– May 31)

Seeking an energetic and organized individual to coordinate and promote Hike For Discovery. Hike For Discovery is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's new adventure fundraising program that prepares people, from beginners to seasoned hikers, to experience a natural wonder in a special way.

Major Responsibilities Include:
•Assist with development and implementation of all Hike For Discovery promotional plans
•Prepare event related correspondence and reports
•Event preparation – special event logistics
•Participant and sponsor recruitment
•Provide quality customer relations to participants
•Presentations at kickoff meeting and information meetings

Skills needed include:
•Excellent public speaking skills
•Capable of balancing multiple priorities effectively
•High degree of organization and attention to detail
•Enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed to excellence
•Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing
•Minimum of a bachelor’s degree

This is a part-time (25 hours a week), hourly position from November until May. Some nights and weekends required to include meetings and hiking with the team. Please send resume and cover letter to:
