Job Description:
Our client, an international manufacturer of high-end HVAC systems for commercial, industrial and institutional applications, is seeking an experienced, professional Development Engineer for their Virginia location. In this role, you’ll lead advanced compressor projects by planning projects, reporting, scheduling, and estimating costs. You’ll carry out engineering calculations, special assignments and design studies relating to the field of heat transfer, and perform analysis, simulation, testing, and qualification of product designs, using reliability tools and statistical methods. In addition, you’ll perform product development, testing and design activities to support platform- and system-level issues for advanced centrifugal chiller design, as well as other duties as assigned. You’ll use your creativity, solid engineering design abilities and statistical methods in design analysis to ensure that products developed and manufactured by our client continue to maintain the utmost in quality standards. Please note that compensation for this position is $85,000 to $95,000 plus 10% bonus potential (DOQ).

Job Requirements:
Requirements for this position include a B.S. (M.E. is preferred), and a minimum of seven years experience in HVAC, including chiller systems.
