Job Description:
San Diego Freightliner is currently seeking a working Body Shop Forman.
Job Duties include:
Opening and closing of repair orders
Assigning jobs to technicians
Writing estimates
Dealing with insurance adjusters and customers
Working on damaged vehicles as needed for body repairs
Wages are based on experience. The right person for this position will posse a strong drive, care about doing their job correctly and be willing to learn everything possible even if it's not in the job description. We enjoy our time at work and want to ensure the positive attitude is maintained.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications include:
Strong Working knowledge of fiber glass repairs and panel replacing
Diesel technician experience
Previous heavy to medium duty truck experience
Steering axle and king pin tear down experience
Metal work
Strong working knowledge of riveting and riveting tools
Strong working knowledge of huck bolt and huck bolt tools
Painting experience is a plus.
Must have your own tools.
Certified Welder preferred
Dupont certified is a plus
